Handyman FAQs

The process is quick and simple, so you can start booking jobs right away. Once you complete the 4-step sign-up process, your details are confirmed, and a background check is completed immediately, so you can start booking jobs that very day!

Since you set your rates, this is completely up to you. Make sure to keep your rates competitive and provide great service and value that will get you five-star reviews.

When you sign up, one of the four simple steps is to include your bank details for automatic deposit. Once a job is completed, payment is received from your customer and is automatically deposited into your account. It’s that simple!

Step 4: Login to complete registration and set up your profile. We may follow up with you if you need to attend an onboarding session for customer service standards and tips on how to be successful using the COZIITM App

Step 5: Start taking jobs and earn money.

  • Have a Social Security Number. This is required for the background check.
  • Be at least 18 years of age. All Taskers must meet this age requirement in order to perform tasks.
  • Be able to work in one of in Canada.Unfortunately, we are not currently reviewing registrations outside of Canada, but please be sure to keep up with us as we hope to expand to more cities and countries.
  • Provide us with personal information for a background and ID check. Your personal information is securely stored and maintained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Have a checking or deposit account with a Canadian financial institution.
  • Have a smartphone: You’ll be managing your tasks through our Tasker app, which is compatible with iOS or Android, but is not available in either the Apple or Google Play stores. We do not have a Windows application at this time. You must have iOS 9.0 or later, or Android version 4.3 or later.

Renter FAQs

Step 1: Download the COZIITM App.

Step 4: Login to complete registration and set up your profile including adding your landlord, if they haven’t done son already. If you are stuck at any point, contact our client success support for immediate help.

Step 5: Start paying rent, requesting maintenance from your landlord and book trusted handyman or service expert if needed.

You can add your landlord from side menu in your profile. First, press “+ Landlord”. Search for the landlord name or select a landlord from the list. View landlord profile and confirm “+Add  Landlord”.

From the home menu press “Request repairs from landlord”, select where in your home you need a repair, tag a repair service you need, add details of your request including uploading photos if needed, review the summary of your request press “Confirm” to send the request to your landlord.

From the home menu press “Book a pro”. View list of handymen by location or trades and choose the “handyman”. Add job info and details, view job summary  and payment. Press confirm booking.

No. You pay for service of a handyman or service expert. You can request for maintenance from your landlord. If you aren’t sure about the type of maintenance or repairs you are responsible for, please contact your landlord.

From the home menu, press “Pay rent and utilities”. Add credit or debit card info, if you haven’t done so already. Add the amount you wish to pay, use the calendar to schedule when and how often you plan to pay the same amount entered previously. Add your landlord (payment recipient), if you haven’t done so already. Press “Make payment”.

Landlord FAQs

Step 4: Login to complete registration and set up your profile including adding details about your rental property and adding tenants. If you are stuck at any point, contact our client success support for immediate help.

Step 5: Start receiving rent payment, maintenance request and book trusted handyman or service expert for swift, reliable services.

You can add your tenants and send them invitations to connect within COZIITM. This is a convenient way for your tenants to pay rent, submit maintenance requests, view payment history, send a message, and more. Remember, you must add the tenant to your contacts.

To add a tenant, go to “View Tenants” in the left side menu, then press “+Add Tenant”. Search for the tenant name or select a tenant from the list. View tenant profile and confirm “+Add Tenant”.

To book a handyman or service expert, click “Book a pro” in the home menu. View list of handymen by location or trades and choose the “handyman”. Add job info and details, view job summary and confirm booking.

Looking for new tenants? You can easily share your listings with tenants on the app for best referral and matching with verified tenants on COZIITM.

You can also use www.coziirentals.ca to advertise your rental listings with a broader audience. Cozii Rentals will go above and beyond to attract quality tenants for you by sharing your listings on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram for FREE.
